I mean that's the 3rd time he's called out Dan Ige. At some point they have to give him that fight if he keeps winning.

Let’s see Paul Craig get beat up for 12 mins or controlled and then break that arm lol. And Brito was going to keep hitting that spot and you know it

Tony's leg was bleeding alot like that against Diaz and it didn't make a huge difference in the fight so I could've seen them allowing that fight to continue

@RustyTennakoon
Thanks for explaining. Fights are almost never stopped due to bleeding alone, so that couldn't be it.
I'm sure if the bone was exposed that's a valid reason.

We had a fight-stopping cut from leg kicks! How insane is that?!

The Featherweight division is not that deep right now. Brito could easily fight for the title after a couple more fights.

Paul Craig has a great nickname but he is unimpressive at fighting most of the time.

@Sexy Beefer
I don't think the bleeding was the issue. I've seen Mark Hunt and Edson Barboza in the past with a similar issue and they kept on fighting. I'm not a doctor, so I have no idea what the reason behind the stoppage truly was. I guess we'll have to wait until Shore or his camp tweets about it.

Ige is ranked #13 now. I think Brito vs Ige isn't a bad fight. They could definitely book that one imo

Caio should be able to finish Paul Craig both in the feet and on the ground. On the ground being alot more dangerous of course.

Even still... and it pains me to say that about another brazilian men... he gives me belal vibes. All decisions with some miracle finishes here and there in the UFC.

I know the "logical" thing to is pick against Aldo because of his age, but am I the only one thinks Martinez is tailor made to lose to Aldo? The one thing he specializes in, Aldo mastered the defense and offense for, and his boxing isn't very good at all. Aldo on the other hand, not only refined his boxing in his most recent years in the UFC, but also has been training boxing during his hiatus.

Aldo has the power advantage, and was so fast before leaving, that even if he's slowed now, it shouldn't be too far from Martinez's speed. Aldo is better on the mat too, if Martinez happens to get it there by some miracle. Only way I see Aldo losing is if body has just given up on him recently (muscle mass, bone density etc.) but...

we've seen these old technical fighter turn way younger good fighters, Faber v Simon, Munhoz v Gutierrez, Assuncao vs Henry, and others. If anyone can do it it would be a GOAT candidate in Aldo
