I have Hendricks in my top 10. But I do agree kind of with K1, I wont contender Hendricks a legitimate top 5 until he BEATS a top 5 decisively, that KO over Fitch was obviously decisively but it also could have been luck. If he ends up fighting a guy like Ellenberger or MacDonald and beating them via domination then okay hes for real.

I don't believe I have Jake Shields out of this top 10, but the WW are STACKED!  I Believe Jake is better @ 185lbs anyway.  Anthony Johnson, should probably be removed and added into the MW as well.

Tough Picks.

Wolf, since you have both ranked, who has Kos and/or Rumble beat?

Brenneman had been KOed by Hendricks before Rumble and was only considered fringe top 20 and that was due to a late replacement decision over Story, whose win over Alves was impressive but who also lost a decision to John Hathaway and since then, Kampmann.

And Kos' fight with Hughes just showed why Hughes hadn't faced a competitive WW since GSP and why he should've never been put in a cage with the younger generation of wrestlers who actually learned at least a little bit of striking. There's no way he should've been considered top 10 CURRENTLY.

Valid questions to Wolf.  I think Kos' victims don't have great pedigree, but at the time of many of those fights, each of those guys were regarded as top 10 fighters. I believe KOS should be fighting guys like Jake E. and Rick Story, Johny Hendricks to see if he is deserving of our rankings, I think he will do well against the up and comers still, but he could easily be # 11-15 in a couple of months.  As for Rumble, with the exception of KOS, he has destroyed everyone they put in front of him (Burn fight excluded).  I think he gets his ranking more on potential that actual body of work...and that says a lot about expectations for him in the UFC.

I also think the gap between #2 and #14 in the WW division is very very close.  I truely believe I could pick anyone from my top 15 and pair them up against anyone in WW division except GSP and the odds would be very close.

@Swick  I hear you about the fans.  BJ's fans used to annoy me, but then I realized something.  It's just not right to judge a fighter by their fans.  It's the same as not judging a religion by its followers.  Just not fair.

About GSP coming back and maybe slipping in his skills?   Your assumption is a high-risk strategy.  Remember when Randy Couture retired and then came back and fought Tim Sylvia?  Maybe wiser to let things play out and await developments.  Like Master Yoda said.  "Future hard to see."
